Southeast Freestyle Squad Vision Statement Our aim is to implement a highly progressive style of non-stop dynamic action consistently at the highest echelons of our sport. Be that a world championship final, taking on stakeout sized waves in Canada or expeditioning Africa’s rivers. Southeast Freestyle’s aim is to bring you to the water in a fun, safe and exciting environment that allows you to push your boundaries and learn.

The Southeast squad currently runs at beginner and intermediate levels as one of the first steps to success for Irish kayaking. The squad, directed by Freestyle World’s Finalist David McClure is now feeding the Irish team with young talent and revolutionizing the reborn Irish Freestyle Scene. The next step for this Program is the formation of a high performance freestyle squad once enough Irish Paddlers make the step from intermediate to advanced paddlers.
